...so experienced last week when I spontaneously decided to take some days off and to escape the cold in Switzerland and travel to a hot and sunny city – Dubai. The giant and fast-growing city in the United Arabic Emirates, the city of superlatives, where “the bigger the better” is the only thing what counts. Anyways, my decision was not based on this fact, and I wasn’t eager to do some sightseeing or explore the city, since it was not my first time there. I’ve visited this city already three times and I also have a model agency there. But working wasn’t the purpose of this travel, either.
…and celebrate amazing rooftop parties. Ok, well it’s not rooftop season yet. At least not in our part of the world since the weather is rather ice-cold and cloudy at the moment. However, it’s the right time to dream how it could be on a beautiful sunny rooftop enjoying a chilled cocktail with a warm summer breeze in your hair. Sounds promising, doesn’t it?
People who know me, also know that I love to pretend to be an Italian. I mean, I kinda look like one, don’t I? And I always try to speak Italian and claim that I am very good at it. And to be honest I am bad, but I am good with speaking with my hands. At least something Italian-like, you see.
Who said, that paradise can only be where there is beach, sea and palms? I mean, you all know that I love summer over winter because there is just much more to do but I have to admit, I found my winter paradise.
..the healthiest addiction. They say. And well, I cannot say any word against it. For everyone who has the (financial) gift and opportunity to travel – just do it! As I’ve mentioned in the last article, it is important to step out of your comfort zone. And for me, traveling (alone!) shows exactly if you’re able to do that or not.
A little homage to one of the most famous places in the Swiss mountains – Davos. It’s not only the highest town in Europe (1’560m above sea level) but also the host to the World Economic Forum (WEF), an annual important meeting of global political and business elites. Moreover, it has one of Switzerland’s biggest ski resort and serves as the site of the annual ice hockey tournament “Spengler Cup”.
