The sky only knows one color these days: grey. And it got freaking cold here in Switzerland. As you probably know, I am not a person who is cold that fast, but even for me, it’s too cold at the moment – ways too cold. It feels like minus degrees celsius although it’s a little above.

Can you imagine going on a hike in fashionable and fancy clothes? Well, not really! When hiking then I prefer to wear functional clothing and that might be not as fancy as the street style I am wearing usually. But hey, who cares?

…and I love boots in general. And especially different kinds of Chelsea boots, as you can see in one of my latest posts. I think it’s simply one of the best and most suitable kind of shoes when it comes to fall. And well, the opportunities are endless as seen here.  It’s not a “real” Chelsea boot but there are still similarities.

Trenchcoat - a trend coat?

Well, it’s a good question since trenchcoats aren’t something brandnew - not at all. They’re already seen in famous movies in the 50ies or 60ies worn by iconic actors such as Marlon Brando, Humphrey Bogart or James Dean. Back then, they were seen as a stylish piece with a classy elegance however it got forgotten over the time.

With the falling leaves, fall is coming and well, winter is not that far away. The temperature in the morning and after sunset (in case the sun was shining) is quite cold already. Even if I’m not really sensitive when it comes to colder temperatures, it’s better to change to some typical fall and therefore warmer outfits now.

Last night was a big party night, as you probably know - my birthday party. Well, next year’s going to be the big party though, when I enter the 30ies, but still one must celebrate when one has the chance. And I enjoyed a wonderful evening with my beloved family and friends.
