…than the real ones but not less tasteful. I mean, don’t we all love sweets and sugar? And what about delicious, freshly baked brownies? Almost no one can resist, can you? I can’t. Brownies are one of my favorite desserts. However, it’s difficult to combine it with my diet. But I found a solution with which you don’t have to abstain from these delicious little brown things.
There are protein brownies by foodspring which are low in sugar and high in protein. Check the following nutrition facts per 100 g brownie:
Energy: 228 kcal
Fat: 7.3 g
Carbohydrate: 20 g / of which sugars: 5.0 g
Fibre: 7.3 g
Protein: 17 g
Salt: 0.07 g
But most importantly, they’re very tasteful at the same time. I was immediately convinced and needed to try it out. And I have to tell you, with the baking mixture of foodspring it’s easily made. Believe me, since I am not good in baking or at least not used to it, I can tell. Well, I can cook quite well. But baking, this is something I never put much effort in it.
So, let me briefly explain how to bake your own delicious protein brownies. All you need are the following ingredients:
And this is how it should be done. It’s only three easy steps:
- Combine baking mixture with 175 ml milk and stir until smooth
- Fill the dough in a small greased brownie baking tin.
- Bake on the middle rack at 175 degrees Celsius for approx. 15-20 minutes. Exact baking time may vary depending on the oven.
