…a #stayhome barista? We are experiencing a challenging time with circumstances we haven’t seen before. We have to adapt and give up a lot of things for the moment to fight this crisis and we will fight it, all together, that’s for sure.

Don’t give up on good coffee

But we must not give up our mind, motiviation and our beliefs to get through this situation and we also don’t have to give up good coffee either and our creativity in combination with coffee. Why don’t we make the best out of this situation and try out new things with getting creative in making new Nespresso coffee creations instead of just drinking the same coffee all day. Which is very delicious, too of course! Don’t get me wrong here.

Call your inner barista

However, maybe you knwo where I am going with this.  What I am trying to say is, awaken your inner barista inside you. Yes, the hidden talent, which I am sure slumbers somewhere inside you when it comes to prepare your daily coffee. Because when it comes to coffee there are so many options and variations, so it never gets boring. But sometimes we are just too narrow minded and don’t want to open up our eyes for something better, bigger or different. And I am not only talking about coffee by saying this. It’s meant in general and for so many different situations in life. Sometimes it just needs another angle to look at things and you will come up with different ideas.

Ingredients for a #stayhome barista

Back to our Nespresso coffee creations: The questions now is what it really needs to become a #stayhome barista? It’s pretty simple. All it basically needs is a little time and the encourage to try out new things. And I am sure, you will all find these two ingredients, right?

New coffee blends

And when talking about ingredients, let’s see how to make your own delicious coffee creation. Thanks to the three new blends of the Nespresso Vertuo Barista Creations it has never been easier. Let me explain you quickly how they taste:

Barista Creations Vanilla Custard Pie
The sweetness of vanilla pairs with silky smooth Latin American and African Arabicas to create a coffee that is, quite simply, nice as pie.

Barista Creations Caramel Cookie
Delicious caramel and lightly roasted Arabicas from Latin America and Africa give this blend a buttery biscuit note straight out of your childhood.

Barista Creations Hazelino Muffin
Hazelnut shines through in this lightly roasted blend of Latin American and African coffees to give it the touch of a hearty pastry.

Delicious new creations to meet everyones taste. And the new blends got expertly crafted for the perfect harmony of coffee and milk, which makes them the right choice to try out new coffee creations and recipes.

My personal barista coffee creation

And speaking about recipes, it’s now the right time to reveal my personal new barista coffee creation – the ICED VANILLA COCONUT LATTE. It’s just the perfect mix for vanilla and coconut lover (as I am) as a refreshing ice-cold coffee drink on a hot summer day or it could be equally enjoyed as a cool and delicious dessert.

The recipe of the Iced Vanilla Coconut Latte

And here’s the recipe for 1 Iced Vanilla Coconut Latte:

- 125ml Nespresso Barista Creations Vanilla Custard Pie
- 4-5 ice cubes
- 150ml milk
- 4 tablespoons fine coconut flakes
- 1 coconut macaroon/cookie crumbled

Put all ingredients together in a blender and mix it well until smooth. Pour it into a glass and decorate it nicely and according to your taste. I topped it with some whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles and some crumbled coconut macaroon.

And now all you need to do is to lean back and enjoy the summer with this heavenly creation. And staying home will immediately get better, promised!
