The days are getting shorter, the nights longer and at the same time chilly. So it’s time to think about the must-have outfit for fall/winter this year. The leather jacket is still the piece you need to have. You can see it in every shop. It really is the true companion of every man.

In my case, it is. My favorite leather jacket has had so many uses and therefore as well some marks on it. But I think the marks are the things, which make the leather jacket even more interesting. Wearing a leather jacket, which has been used before (and you can see it) let a man appear even cooler than a totally new jacket. In addition, a leather jacket is a good choice to increase the value of each outfit in every season.

Go and have a look in your closet and just grab it for your next outfit. If you’d like to have a new one, I’d suggest focusing on an slim-fit cut as well as the right length. The jacket shouldn’t be too long. Details like asymmetrical zips or stitcheries give your jacket a special look and feel.

So, the question now is: How do I combine the leather jacket in fall/winter? If you’ve got the right accessories, you can create a great look easily. I’ve chosen two totally different styling variations. On one hand you can combine the leather jacket with brown boots, a basic jeans and a nice cardigan (if it’s colder already, just add scarf and cap). This is more kind of a classical and chic winter outfit. On the other hand, you can use the leather jacket in more sporty ways of styling as well. Just take a hoodie instead of the cardigan and sneakers instead of the boots. In this way, you’ve got a totally new outfit easily. In the end, it is all about trying out!
