Festival Fashion – when the bandana takes over…

…the fashion regime, then the festival season has definitely started. I have to admit, I am not a big festival lover, or at least I wasn’t in the past. Well, I just didn’t attend so many festival yet that I could have fallen in love with it.

But that has changed now. Since the last weekend which I spent at the Openair Frauenfeld Festival, I kind of fell in love with spending a sunny weekend outdoors, having my beloved friends around me and enjoying an amazing time together with good music, food and drinks.

And what belongs to a good festival, too? Exactly, the right fashion. And a festival is a place where you can experiment with your fashionable taste. I’d say dressing for a festival you can’t go much wrong expect just choosing boring clothes. A festival is here to celebrate love, music, friends and so much more. So show your happiness and express it with a colorful and fancy outfit.

That’s what I have chosen for my two days there: I tried to put together an outfit which is typical festival-like and added as many accessories as possbile. I think this is a good point to make an outfit festival-ready: add accessories, such as fancy sunglasses, chains, rings, fanny pack or bandanas. Yes, bandanas are the men‘s it-piece for the festival summer. You can see it everywhere and it looks so stylish. I have to say I fell in love with bandanas somehow.

What’s more? Just go bright and bold, try out different colors or even color-blocking. What also works best is funny patterns and cuts. Combine whatever you feel like and don’t be shy, but just make sure it doesn’t look like you’re attending a bad-taste-party.
