…from time to time and there’s no better place to do so than in Cape Town. Yes, you probably noticed that I am in this beautiful city for quite a time now and I fell in love immediately with the Mother City.
And you know how it is, when there is a young love with something or someone. You are so eager to spend a lot of time together to get-to-know and explore each other better and you forget everything around you. So happened to me with Cape Town. Therefore, so sorry for keeping you waiting with this new blog post. However, I was busy with exploring this new city, enjoying some days off and then seeing some agencies and doing some photo shoots.
Well, since I love it so much here and my meetings with the agencies went quite successful and there is supposed to be a lot of work for me, I signed with a new agency here and I will be coming back to Cape Town in February for two more months, provided that my work visa will be settled by then. I am so happy about it and can’t wait to be back and I still have some days left here to enjoy. This is unconditional love, isn’t it?
But what makes it so special here? Have you ever been to Cape Town? If so, you wouldn’t ask this question. It’s the vibes the city has, all the different people, lifestyles and cultures. The colors of life united in one city – the Mother City. A good example to describe that is the Bo-Kaap neighborhood with its colored houses and locals in the streets, little shops and of course many tourists taking pictures. And it’s heart-warming or maybe even heart-breaking to see these children playing happily in the streets and being so friendly even though they most probably live below the poverty line and don’t have much in life but happiness.
