Beach fashion – how to be stylish…

…at the beach. And I am not talking about swimwear this time. You can also go to the beach not only for swimming or sun bathing. You can also either go there for a peaceful morning walk or to enjoy the sunset and have a cozy picnic in the sand.

And while doing so, it might be too cold to just wear your swimming trunks or bikini. That’s why you need to think about a stylish outfit even if it’s «just» the beach. Just because beach stands for coziness and laziness it doesn’t mean you’re outfit needs to be the same or you don’t need to care about it at all.

Going to the beach is often connected to showing off what you have, speaking about all the fit bodies posing in the sand or flouncing along the shore. But you also can show off how stylish and fashionable you are, even or just because you are at the beach.

So when I styled this outfit I connected it automatically to the ocean and a beautiful beach. I can’t really explain why, but it’s made for the beach. Well, most probably because of the fancy retro sunglasses and the bright colors. But let me start with the it-piece of this outfit which is certainly the T-shirt. It looks a bit like a shirt by Versace but it’s not, promised! I bought it at Zara by the way here in Cape Town. To wear this, yes I agree, you need to be confident, but if you combine it with a cool light blue jeans shirt or jacket like I did, it’s not that flamboyant anymore. Roll-up the sleeves of your shirt and it’s perfectly suitable for the beach.

Then combine it with light blue ripped jeans shorts and your overall look is almost complete. You don’t need to care much about shoes, since you’re going to walk barefoot anyways. As a stylish highlight I’ve chosen this cool orange retro-sunglasses which I bought at Zara too, by the way.

As you can see, it doesn’t need much for a very fashionable and stylish look. Just choose one or two it-pieces and combine a matching outfit around.

Take care & write you soon...
