…with the most beautiful thing you can do – watching the sunrise. I know, it’s quite hard to get up early in the morning when everything is still dark and the cozy and warm bed is calling you to stay. But believe me, sometimes it’s totally worth it, especially when being in such a wonderful city like Barcelona.

It’s not only about seeing a beautiful sunrise but having a fresh start and making the most out of the day. Speaking about the sunrise, of course it’s very beautiful and somehow not comparable to sunsets, which I love a lot, too. It’s completely a different mood and the advantage of watching sunrises is, due to the fact of getting up early, that there are not a lot of people around. So it’s that special peace and calm mood in the mornings of an empty beach, only listening to the sound of the waves and watching the sun slowly rising from the ocean. These moments could last forever. Me sitting or standing there facing the sun and enjoying a peaceful morning with just me, myself and my thoughts. This makes me thought-provoking but smiling at the same time.

And as soon as the crowd is awakening and the beach is getting busier, it’s the time to leave and explore the rest of the city. That’s what I meant with it’s totally worth it – not only because oft he beautiful sunrise. Moreover, if you’re getting up early you can make the most out of the day and that’s important because Barcelona has so many cool things to offer. Means, you’d rather have enough time to explore the city and stroll around. From beautiful architecture, shopping streets and parks to cute coffee shops and fancy restaurants, there is so much to do.
